This is a XL spreadsheet which contains a list of over 100 glider performance figures.
(e.g. The LS3 data is from a pile of IdaFlieg data provided by Maurie Bradney)

The spreadsheet allows comparision of two aircraft polar curves and produces a number of tables of information related to the calculations contained in Helmut Reichmans book "Cross Country Soaring".

    Flight Planner v17

This spreadsheet used for planning tasks for fun flying or for competitions or badges. It can be used as a cross check on some of the competition scoring programs and as a quick method of producing alternate tasks for a day.

Great fun for winter nights when dreaming of that elusive silver, gold or diamond flight.

The XL spreadsheets are written for XL5/7 but run in 98 with no changes.

Any suggestions for changes or additional features for either please mail me. I will revise both spreadsheets when the changes warrant.
